Exchange Authentication Using Default iPhone Mail Application (Fail to Authenticate Error):
If you're using the default iPhone Mail Application and wish to sync both your calendar as well as your email, you'll need to use the Microsoft "Exchange/ActiveSync" mode (only for mobile). If you have 2FA enabled on your account, then your email password will not work. You will need to create an "Application Code" to use as a password.
