The LOC SMS (Store Management Suite) software is installed on a Member server.  Clients are typically a member of an Active Directory Domain environment.  Therefore, the user accounts on the client machine and that of the member server must match to authenticate.  Domain user accounts with the same name are treated as the same local account as a local user on a domain computer.  For example WORKGROUP\Jim is the same as .\Jim or <Hostname>\Jim in the Workgroup/Member Server's eyes.

Open Credential Manager and clear any SMS related credentials
Ensure that you can access this share\\smsserver901\storeman
Open Task Manager and Sign Out any other users
Open an elevated command prompt and kill all SMS related processes
taskkill /f /im smsstart*
taskkill /f /im L_*

Ensure that either a local or domain "pos_ncbp" user has a present profile on the system using lusrmgr.msc and C:\Users
Open an elevated command prompt and run the following commandC:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /savecred /user:"FLASH\pos_ncbp" "C:\storeman\SMSStart.exe"
You will be prompted for the SMSSERVER901 password which can be found by the server in the back office.
Test sign in with programmer user.  Credentials can be found in master password manager keepass XC file
